The renowned Czechoslovak Group, which this year celebrates 30 years of successful work, continuously invests in technology and human resources worldwide, including the “14th October” factory in Kruševac, which is part of the group. The goal of these investments is to maintain competitiveness in the market and improve production processes. In recent years, the factory has focused on enhancing production capacities, with special emphasis on CNC technology and the optimization of machining processes. These investments not only ensure greater efficiency but also enable young engineers and operators to develop their skills in line with the latest industrial standards.
As part of its future plans, the “14th October” factory is preparing significant investments in expanding production capacities as well as modernizing equipment. The aim of these investments is further automation of production lines, increased productivity, and reduction of negative environmental impact through the implementation of green technologies. At the same time, there is a strong commitment to the continuous development of employees, making their daily tasks easier.
Among the young employees already contributing to the factory’s development is Martin Pešić, a CNC machine operator. Although relatively new to the industry, Martin quickly adapted to the challenges that come with the job.

Martin Pešić, CNC Machine Operator
“Since I am relatively young and new to the industry, what helped me the most was mentorship and team support. Through training and working with more experienced colleagues, I quickly gained confidence in my abilities and became proficient in operating CNC machines. We use CNC machines that allow for high precision and efficiency. With machine control programs and precision machining tools, we achieve optimal results while minimizing the possibility of errors,” Martin explains.
In his daily work, Martin uses state-of-the-art technologies and tools for precision metal processing. When it comes to equipment maintenance, he emphasizes the importance of regular servicing for long-term functionality.
“Maintenance is crucial for the long-lasting operation of machines. I make sure to check key machine parameters every day and immediately react if I notice any irregularities. Preventive maintenance helps machines run flawlessly, which is of great importance for our work,” adds Pešić.
