Part of the Czech company Czechoslovak Group is the “14th October” factory in Kruševac, a symbol of industrial production and a significant name in both the domestic and regional markets. Once rooted in mechanical and manufacturing tradition, the factory today operates largely under a modern business system that combines engineering expertise, contemporary standards, and leadership competencies embodied by Bratislava Sinadinović and Danijela Rakovac.
A graduate mechanical engineer and supervisor of the central warehouse, Bratislava Sinadinović manages the entire logistics process at “14th October.” Her responsibilities cover all stages—from receiving and inspecting goods, to storage, and finally to the issuance of materials. Each day she carefully monitors inventory levels, ensures accuracy and order in documentation, and creates precise delivery schedules so that materials are always in the right place at the right time.
“In our sector, mistakes are not an option. Every item must be recorded, every document in its place, and every material available when needed. Logistics is the invisible lifeline of the factory. If it doesn’t function precisely and in an organized way, everything else slows down. That is why my job must combine technical accuracy with human responsibility. My experience at ‘14th October’ has taught me that systematic work is the most important. Any mistake can cause delays, which is why I always remain focused on precision and timely delivery. The team I lead shows remarkable dedication. We all strive to do our best and to support one another.”

What particularly sets Bratislava apart are her leadership qualities. In addition to the technical side, she manages a disciplined team of people, providing them with support, mentorship, and stability in their work.
“Last year we faced several challenges in terms of supply, but we always adapted quickly and found solutions. Still, the best part of this job is when everything comes together and all teams work as one. The true satisfaction at the end of the day is when everything runs smoothly, and we all do our best to be as efficient as possible,” adds Bratislava.
Mechanical engineer and production and material planning supervisor, Danijela Rakovac, leads one of the most responsible sectors in any production system—planning. Her duty is to organize daily and weekly production schedules, manage capacities, raw material and component stocks, and coordinate with procurement to ensure a continuous production flow. She issues monthly work orders in Meta Smart Factory (MSF), as well as orders in APS (Advanced Planning & Scheduling), an advanced planning and scheduling system that optimizes resources and capacities.
“Planning is a living process that changes every single day. It requires not only knowledge but also flexibility and good communication with all teams. The biggest challenge is to strike a balance between what production can achieve and what the market demands. Without a detailed plan and control, problems arise easily,” Danijela stresses.

Her task is to prepare production orders, allocate resources, and react quickly in unforeseen situations, since her job is far from static and requires constant analysis, evaluation, and decisiveness.
She particularly emphasizes the importance of collaboration, stating:
“The best part of my job is connecting people from procurement, production, and warehousing. Only together can we ensure that the process runs smoothly. Planning and coordination between departments are key to our success. It is never just about numbers—it’s about how teams work together and how we adapt to daily challenges. For production to run seamlessly, we must operate as a perfectly synchronized team,” explains Rakovac.
Expertise and dedication enable the smooth operation of the entire production system and the achievement of high-quality standards. Her responsibility, as well as the role of her team, is crucial for the factory’s development.
In the coming years, the “14th October” company will expand its team by hiring new workers, developing new capacities, and improving operations. The creation of new jobs will provide opportunities for many talented professionals to join the company’s team.
